Evolve a Cell Beginner Guide

The first session in Evolve a Cell: eat plants, dash with Space, open Stats, and only then look at parts, levels, and bosses.

First session

  1. Stay small on purpose — You start as a tiny cell in a pond. Eat plants first. Other cells and other players can eat you. Each server holds 16 players, so a quiet patch of plants is safer than the middle of a crowd.
  2. Use the controls that were shown — Press Space to dash. That line comes from a gameplay video of this experience. The same video opens upgrades and presses E without saying what E does. Ignore outside charts that assign dash to a different key.
  3. Read the next page for your actual problem — After the first meal, open the guide that matches the prompt on your screen. Parts, the colossal level gate, rebirth, mutations, and bosses are separate jobs.
  4. First session — Food, Space dash, and the yellow Stats unlocks.
  5. Body parts — Official names plus the roles players reported.
  6. Level gates — The colossal prompt and the land objective.
  7. Video Guides — The short first-look video and what it does not teach.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Evolve a Cell?

Evolve a Cell is a free Roblox simulation by Splitline: Creative. You play a tiny cell in a pond, eat plants or hunt other cells (including players), add body parts, paint your creature, and grow toward giant bosses.

Are there working Evolve a Cell codes?

No code string has been published on the official game page, and placeholder labels are not codes. The in-game redeem button, if one exists, has not been confirmed.

How do I dash?

A gameplay video of this experience says to press Space to dash. Other keys such as E are pressed in that video, but the video never explains what E does.

Which body parts are real?

The official description names jaws, spikes, eyes, and tails, and says you can add more. Players have also named antenna, drill, leech mouth, zapper, tentacle, poison sac, flagellum, and stinger. Stat numbers for those parts are not published.

What does the level 7 colossal prompt mean?

A player at level 6 said the game required them to colossal before level 7. The exact requirement was not explained. Open Stats and unlock any yellow entries, then read the prompt on your own screen.

Does a high rebirth count stop you from losing?

No. A player reported 50 rebirths and still losing fights. Rebirth exists, but the reset rules and reward numbers are not published.
